Archery

Archery is Magical!  JrAHA staff and volunteers provide basic Olympic style target archery training as developed by the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and TPWD Texas Archery in the Schools Program (TX-ASP).  All instructors are certified by NASP and TPWD’s TX-ASP.  NASP has trained over 4,000,000 students since 2003 in school districts through out all 50 states and has maintained a perfect safety record.

Basic training is available through school programs.  Additional training, practice formats and tournaments are provided as after school programs with clubs, hosted seminars and special events.  The “in school” basic program typically is three-weeks totaling approximately 15 hours per class.  Standardized archery equipment is provided for these courses.
